Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 15% where appropriate against goods returned for Credit or replacement.

Any products made to measure from information/sizes provided by the customer are non returnable and non refundable. This includes special order Charles Owen Hats.

All prices quoted here are correct at time of issue and are inclusive of VAT @ 20%.

We reserve the right to alter prices under circumstances beyond our control.

All prices are quoted in UK pounds sterling and goods are sold under UK law.

We are very happy to help and advise customers although we cannot be held responsible for the decision made when choosing a size.

HIRING BITS

The hire period is 21 days from the date you receive the bit and if you have any queries or questions during this time, please contact me.  Again, the full price is paid at the time of purchase and if the bit is returned, a refund less the hire charge (£6.50 per bit) and postage (see below) is processed.

Please take care of the bit and keep it in good condition during the hire period. Damaged or broken bits cannot be returned.  Don't worry about teeth marks - this sometimes happens with warmer sweeter metals - or oxidation - this happens with sweet iron and has a rusty appearance.  Both are perfectly normal and will not affect us accepting the bit back. 

The bit must be back with Salcey Saddlery before the Hire End Date to avoid further charges being incurred. It is your responsibility to ensure that the bit is kept safe from damage, theft and loss during the trial period.

CLEANING YOUR BIT

If you have to return your bit, please return it in clean condition. We ask that you wash the bit gently but thoroughly in warm water to remove any grass, food etc. All bits returned to Salcey Saddlery will be disinfected thoroughly. Salcey Saddlery cannot be held responsible for any diseases, infections, viruses or mouth or medical conditions that appear after hiring a bit from us.

RETURNING YOUR BIT

It is recommended that any items for return are sent by Special Delivery to ensure that you are fully covered for compensation should the parcel go astray. Salcey Saddlery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in the post. Refunds less the hire charges are processed within 2 days of receiving the item back.

Security
We take security very seriously at Salcey Saddlery, that's why your on-line purchases from this web site are protected by something called SSL. When you use our on-line order form, all your details are scrambled up so that no-one can see them until they reach us. This method is called encryption and it means that your name, address and, most importantly, your credit card details are secure as they travel across the internet to our shop. Your Statutory rights are not affected by any of the following terms and conditions.

SERVICES ARE PROVIDED 'AS IS,' WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY FOR INFORMATION, SERVICES, UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED THROUGH OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE SOFTWARE LICENSED TO THE CUSTOMER AND THE RESULTS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE. SPECIFICALLY, WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: 1) ANY WARRANTIES CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OR CONTENT OF INFORMATION, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; AND 2) ANY WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

CUSTOMER SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE SERVICE IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS OR THIRD-PARTIES AND THAT THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH CUSTOMER.

NEITHER THE SERVICE NOR ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AFFILIATES OR CONTENT PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO GAIN ACCESS TO OR USE THE SERVICE OR OUT OF ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY. CUSTOMER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL CONTENT ON THE SERVICE.
